    Hello,
So, I got into my current university through clearing after achieving BCD (originally predicted ABB) at A-Level due to severe glandular fever through and before exam season (Just my luck really..) but I'm really not happy here. I study (English) Literature and Modern Languages.
To clarify, I enjoy what I study and how I'm currently studying it, but to be honest, being here makes me too miserable for various other reasons and it's just making me lose all motivation to even go to classes, so I would love to be able to study it elsewhere.
Although I very much doubt my original uni choices will accept me, I wouldn't mind trying somewhere else.
I'm currently averaging at a high 2:1 in my English subjects(could easily be improved) and a 2:1 in modern languages (or at least in my main, which I will focus on continuing), so as these are somewhat good grades (I hope?).. Is it still possible a good uni will accept me considering these grades? And perhaps see my A-Levels for what they were, i.e unfortuante extenuating circumstances, so I wasn't able to work to my full ability..?

I really just need opinions.. Thanks.

Why ask us when you can contact the uni's you're interested in?

The answer is that it depends on the university you're at, and where you're planning to move to, and the similarities in the syllabus. I've had friends who have done this, some have been admitted straight into second year, some have had to repeat first year again, there's just no way of knowing. Drop them an email, explain the situation, you've got nothing to lose.
