I am a Malaysian currently studying law degree in the UK.
I am interested becoming a Solicitor in UK hence it is right for me to apply for the Legal Practice Course.
However, as I am a Malaysian, I have not heard of anyone from Malaysia going to the path I am planning to take.
Hence, it is because the is no job opportunity for Malaysian to be a solicitor in UK?
    Please enlighten me.
    Thank you.

    Hi Sakura,

We have a good number of Malaysian students studying with us at The University of Law. Many of these students choose to study the Bar Professional Training Course (BPTC) as it leads directly into practice in Malaysia.

We also have Malaysian students who take the LPC, aiming for full qualification and practice here in the UK. City law firms, in particular, are keen to retain international diversity – many of our international students continue to training contracts in the UK following their LPC.

If you have any more queries, please let us know. Alex, our International Student Recruitment Manager is happy to help: you can e-mail him at [email protected].

    Good luck!
