Urgently need help! - homogeneous equilibrium calculations involving Kc watch

    Please can somebody help me with this and please can you explain your answer as well

    How many moles of ethanol must be mixed with 3 mol of ethanoic acid at 373 K to produce 2 mol of ethyl ethanoate? (At this temperature, Kc, for the reaction CH3COOH + C2H5OH (reversible reaction sign) CH3COOC2H5 + H2O = 4.0)

    Do an ICE table.

    I happened to start with 3 mol of EtOH and it turned out to be the right answer.
