    Hey guys, im stuck with either Banking and internaition finance at Cass, A&F at warwick or A&F at lse. This is throught ucas extra and I was wondering, what are my chances of getting into any of them? I am predicted A*A*A a level and have 2A3B at As,5A*Ac at gcse. Thanks

    Have you applied to them already? Or are you considering applying through Extra?

    Ucas Extra is only used by unis to fill courses that still have spaces, and usually the listings in the first day or two of Extra are pretty inaccurate. I'd be really surprised if any of these courses actually still have spaces, so before applying I would email the unis admissions departments to check they actually do have spaces before applying.

    Those are some of the most applied-to courses at the most applied-to universities and the chances of them being in Extra is minimal. Ucas Extra lists are extremely unreliable because Ucas puts all courses into it by default and leaves it up to the universities to take them out, which isn't much of a priority for them. Anyone intending to use Extra needs to call the university and check the course is really available first.

    You won't get into LSE as they're very strict on GCSE requirements. I'd say give Cass a go, you should get in there although probs not as great for undergrad. You could try Warwick but it's a tighter call considering you only have one shot
