From early today, whenever an ad plays on Spotify it never finishes to let the next song play, but it just stays silent without actually playing the ad ... What is going on???

Pay for Spotify and you wouldn't have this problem.

Sometimes the spotify app freezes and I end up having to close it and re-open it.
Sometimes if that doesnt work, I turn my phone on and off.

But yeah if you pay for spotify like me you wont get the ads

I have had that too. Since I have recently upgraded my phone it is working better but it is still slow at times.

£10 a month I think, but I get a 50% student discount so £5 a month. I'd say it's worth it especially if you have speakers in your room and like blasting music

But why should I have to pay just because Spotify has an issue with ads?

because when you're blasting tunes you're in the zone, there is no time for ads.
£5 isnt too much i think
