Ideally wanna get the unconditional offers from 4/5 choices
They are Newcastle, Leicester, Kent, Brunel and Swansea for CompSci

usually, if you already have the grades, then you will probably get one otherwise its conditional upon grades

    Ditto to the above post,

Generally you only get unconditionals if you already have the grades. There are exceptions, and for computer science offers maybe if you could show them an impressive bit of coding work you might get an uncondintional. Unfortunately you're probably going to have to work at your a levels like everyone else.

Either unis give unconditional offers if you already have the grades or if is a really low tier uni then they might just give unconditional offers to attract people. No competitive uni is going to give unconditional offers to people who don't already have the grades.

Dnkz7 Some unis use unconditionals (for applicants with predicted grades) as a marketing scam to persuade you to pick them instead of your other choices. Birmingham, in particular, does this.

Don't fall for it. Pick the course/uni you prefer.

After all, you will still want to have good A-level grades on your CV for life after university.

Not just lower tier. RGs are doing it too.http://www.telegraph.co.uk/education...-students.html

But what about these uni's that I listed, do unconditionals come from them frequently?

Ignore unconditionals as a way of selecting your uni.
