If I don't meet the GCSE grade requirement of an A (GCSE Maths) but I get an A in A-level maths, would I be rejected from the university?
Thank you for any help This is for an Economic & Finance Degree (Surrey)

If you're applying before you've finished your A levels then yes you probably would be rejected. If you apply after you've got your grades then the university might forget about the GCSE, but you need to ask them to be sure.

Not really. This is because I applied with a B and needed an A at maths GCSE but got accepted if I achieve a grade B in a level chemistry in which I'm doing A2 at the moment. Therefore if you have maths at a level I'm sure they won't reject you
