Mocks are going crap, anyone get good AS results in the end after awful mocks? Watch

    • Thread Starter

I have messed on my mocks massively I'll be lucky to get D's quite frankly. Biology, Psychology and latin I know I've messed up purely because I haven't had enough practice. I know I've gotten mostly High a's in biology with a few b's and I get decent marks in the other too without really trying. However my big problem is chemistry, my first mock paper will probably be c/B so not too far away from my desired a but today I did a paper for which I had done every possibly textbook question on the topics and all the past paper questions on those topics yet, I could barely answer 2 questions. The questions were nothing liked I'd ever done before I'm a decent chemist but instead of my desired A/B I'm going to be lucky to get an E. Can anyone relate and/ or tell me their success stories? I really want to be a medic and I need these grades to be amazing to stand any chance for next year please help.

I think a lot of people are in that position, myself included despite having done pretty well at gcse :dontknow:
Just look ahead and work towards the end AS grades, there's no point dwelling on bad grades. You're not expected to do amazing from the beginning; you'll get there!!
