I have many, but here is one:

"If a believer demands that I, as a nonbeliever, observe his taboos in the public domain, he is not asking for my respect, but for my submission. And that is incompatible with a secular democracy."

    I like this!

Personally, I love quotes but don't really have a favourite. I love the old classic, Edison:
"I have not failed. I've just found 10,000 ways that won't work."

Pretty much sums up my life at the moment!

"If you liked it then you shoulda put a ring on it."

If you take it away from its immediate meaning it's quite a nice metaphor for not taking things for granted :bunny: I have an embroidered version in a frame on my wall :teehee:

“It's now very common to hear people say, 'I'm rather offended by that.' As if that gives them certain rights. It's actually nothing more... than a whine. 'I find that offensive.' It has no meaning; it has no purpose; it has no reason to be respected as a phrase. 'I am offended by that.' Well, ******* what."
