Hi can anyone tell me if American Schools ( not universities ) accept GCSE's as an equivalent to a High School Diploma ?
We are taking our daughter to live there and even though she will be in High School for another 2 years due to her age she will be sitting her GCSE's before we leave -..... thanks in advance

"EVALUATION High School Graduation Diploma
On its own, at a minimum, can be considered acceptable in lieu of GCSE (grades A, B, C) provided an average grade C is obtained in subjects which have counter parts in the GCSE syllabus (see Education System below)."
Obviously this gives the reverse for people in the US coming here but it shows quite a bit.
You will need to contact schools if they will accept it.
