I guys I just going through awful experience with rent and It made me question student finance. Going through a bunch of forums about people asking other whether the finance went down in their second years. Some said yes by like £100 others said it remains the same but drops in third year as they don't pay for summer or something.

So I reviewed my account. I am a second year Media Production student and parents income has not changed. And I received £1,728 less then what I did in my first year. Has this happened to anyone else?

That seems odd. Your amount would only change if your parents income changed, you changed where you lived (you get more if you live away from home) or you, as you say, are in your final year.

This shouldn't be the case if your situation hasn't changed as far as I am aware. Have you contacted student finance and asked them?

No in my second year 2nd term. I called them up something about misplacing my mother's P60 but If I hadn't gone on online forums I never would have known. This company operates so weirdly. If they needed this information why no message or call?
