Should I take Triple Science and Maths A levels? watch

    • Thread Starter

I am currently in year 11 and have 4 sixth form college offers to study these subjects. Anybody with any experience in these subjects please share your thoughts.

I only do physics and maths but have plenty of friends who do that combination. There are overlapping ideas which do help especially between physics and maths but nevertheless it's quite a tough combination. I've heard that some chemistry ideas are quite hard to grasp and I know physics requires a lot of time to understand however if science is what you're good at then they will still be easier than, say, an essay subject. Like anything it just takes commitment and hard work although if you do find another subject more interesting I would consider that as an alternative as a levels are only impressive if you are interested in them and get good results.

I am in year 12 and am currently doing fast track maths and triple science. From my own experience they are not as hard as people make them to be. However if you are not interested in science then you will struggle. I have a few friends that chose all 3 sciences but they were only interested in physics and chemistry they are struggling and will probably retake next year. So just do what you enjoy!
