    2014 61 53 48
    2013 57 53 47
    2012 56 50 44
    2011 54 48 42

I'd say this paper was averagely difficult.
    maybe A* 57 A 52 B 45/6 ?

Nope. Was the 'restoring force' one one of the answers to the question that was actually the centre of oscillation?

Yeah I was hoping for a transformer six marker as I had learnt that in depth but was more than happy with the one we were given. Oh okay, thats pretty nice. Thats pretty good, which uni are you applying to? I think I've lost around 6 marks but there could be more.
Yeah same. I turned to six marker as soon as we started and I was relieved lol

    I agree with you exactly. A* around 57, 120 UMS around 62/63.

But we'll have to find out if the AQA Gods are feeling friendly...

Mind you, people said they found PHYA2 easy last year and it was only 58/70 for 120 UMS (82%) for 120 UMS, so they may well be friendly...

That answer was definitely, definitely wrong. I remember 100% because I was fortunate enough to have 20 minutes remaining and that's one of the answers I changed, (from that to something else). There was another incorrect statement that I knew for sure was incorrect.

the time constant question was RC= -45/ln(0.2) not 0.8 because the pd decrased BY 80% not to 80%. the answer was about 28 I think. If you used 0.8 I think you bgot about 200 possibly?

Might give you 1/3 if they're generous. Most likely, yes.
