    WHAT ??!

But if someone needs help how do you do ?? You can't just stay there and do nothing right ?
Did you helped the daughter anyway ?

Edit : indeed I was wondering
sadly, the way things are in the UK, pharmacists are too afraid too help people for fear of getting sued (considering this was in a low socio-economical area with high unemployment, a lot of people have that mentality, including running out into the street on purpose etc). I was desparate to help but was physically held back by other staff members. fortunately the girl was able to recover from the seizure in less than a minute (also it seems I was the only one there aware of status epilepticus as they were trying to rush the girl up after the seizure stopped (do not do anything that may cause a second trigger - be aware for recurrent seizures occurring ~30 seconds after the first, if that happens, call for ambulance immediately).

But yeah, it is sad the way the world is where self-defence constitutes as criminal law (ie jail time) and helping people can cause your company to lose money or you to lose your job.

Oh my god .. I'm pretty shocked ^^ in France it does not work this way :O

The fact is you wanted to help anyway and I guess it's good
