    Hi
I've decided to change myself around and improve myself since I'm trying to better myself.
One part I need help on is my speaking and writing
In terms of my speaking I'm not good at speaking for example when I tell a story people seem uninterested and I've noticed this a lot of whenever I talk in general I seem to be very uninteresting and what I say is not structured well and the response I get from people since that they become quiet I'm assuming because it was boring or they don't know what to say

Is there any way I change myself like what do I do or what books to read to better my speaking

And whenever I'm writing an essay, the lecturer used to say i know what to say but I can't express it properly and that is why I was always getting 40% in my coursework or essays and it was annoying

I'm planning to do an acces course but I want to make sure that when I write the essay I know how to structure or explain them better and also expand on them

I'd appreciate if anyone helps me since I'm trying to sort my life out and I have by reading and surrounding myself with better people but my English speaking and writing is letting me down, even in stuff like interview someone told me that the manager who was interviewing me said I was "dead and boring"

Reading more helps, you can also read the news articles and stuff every day which can be easier and still helpful.
