    Hi all,
Basically last year my brother passed away - it affected my uni work but I had to get extensions on pretty much everything and came out with a 2.1 (first year). This year I've been ok so far although I had a hand injury and had to get extensions for that, and now I am back on anti depressants. It is his birthday today and I can't stop thinking about him. I have work to get on with, but I want to apply for extenuating circumstances because I know that any work I do won't be to the best of my ability. I just wondered whether I am likely to be approved an extension, or if they will think I'm just abusing the system as I don't want to come across that way. I am able to provide a doctors note to show I am back on anti depressants, at the very least.

    Any advice appreciated, thank you

some people will get this for the full three years, if you're struggling again the best thing to do is speak to someone and explain how you're feeling, tell them you feel bad for needing this again if you want to, I'm sure they will reassure you
