    Terrace, shared house.

I have lived in semi-detached and detached houses before. I also slept in a disused garage for a few nights
I "slept" in a garage once during October years ago. it was probably one of the worst and most uncomfortable nights I've had. Basically got no sleep was so cold. Never again.

Yep it wasn't great, but like I said - it felt like luxury compared to where I had been in the preceding nights. I seem to remember there was an old gross armchair in the back that I slept on.

not yet, but I'm pretty sure that grandma is waiting for the right moment to tell me that I'm the princess of Genova, but she's clearly taking her time...
Genova is far too twee for me. A princess of California, then you'd be talking.

I get the same thing in our small terraced house - we have to use draft excluders and all sorts. The sash windows leak cold air as well. Nice and cool in summer though.
