Omg no, how many times.

When the sun rises in the west and sets in the east. When the seas go dry and mountains blow in the wind like leaves. Then I will stop and not before.

I've a really bad cold too, I sympathise. These are my favourite disaster movies:

Frozen (2010)
Three people get stuck on a chair lift and have to make the decision to stay there and die, or try to get down. Very tense movie
Sanctum (2011)
Disaster story surrounding a diving expedition which goes wrong.
I also like touching the void, that's a good one.

I watched frozen with my sister, we thought it was hilarious for some odd reason.

I watched sanctum a few months ago, really liked it.

Disaster? Would Die Hard count?? Cant go wrong with Die Hard, surely?

Based on what you are looking for:

Cloverfield
The Day After Tomorrow
Independence Day
Titanic

A tangentially related suggestion: Apocalypto. Great film.

An oldie but a goodie, 'Psycho'. It looks pretty crappy now but the movie is just fantastic, failing that the back to the future trilogy is always fun for a watch.

I like to watch stuff like bridesmaids, the heat, legally blonde, horrible bosses, ali G, white chicks, 21 jump street.

Basically anything cheesy, funny or just so **** it's good.... I tend to just watch everything on netflix.

2012? the impossible? the day after tomorrow? poseidon?

Seen them all numerous times.

Would prefer to watch a new film. But nope I wouldn't quite class that as a disaster film.

Original post by SophieSmall
Unfortunately seen them all, typical me I've always seen practically everything I'm interested in. I binge on movies too much.

Original post by SophieSmall
Going to have to strongly disagree

Research shows that laughter really is the best medicine and some good, light-hearted comedy can indeed help you get better quickly.

Watched both of most of those very recently. Seen the day after tomorrow about 20 times, I loved it so much when I was a kid.

Madagascar 3, World's End, Youth?

Original post by SophieSmall
I like the jump street films, watched the recently with my brother. Hilarious.

really not a big fan of the typical chick flicks to be honest, I hate films that make me cringe. So uncomfortable.

we need to talk about kevin is good, though the book is better

Me too. I don't even like distater movies very much and I've seen them all.

I will just throw out one of my favourite films as very few people have seen it: The Man from Earth.

Failing this, Seeking a Friend for the End of the World was good fun.

Watch American Psycho

comedy wise: mid/late 90s adam sandler is hilarious (he is way to lame now); 3-idiots (its an indian film but it is possibly my fav foreign live action film)

I love 3 idiots!! Have you watched PK and Queen? You might like them if you like 3 idiots:h:
Disney!

ooo if you're looking for an extra buzz go watch a Bollywood movie:p:p
Great films you may not have seen:

Pi(The best guy-invents-self-aware-math-equation movie ever!)
The Final Girl(Sweetest mother-daughter horror film/road trip movie ever!)
And Tromeo and Juliet.
Type Duel At Blood Creek into Google.
