Title says it all, basically. Thinking about learning guitar on the side. YT not sure if I have enough time to begin learning or how long it will take or whatever.

    What do y'all guys think?

Sweet, I was playing guitar couple of years ago and to tell you the truth it really depends on the person so I cannot really tell you how long it will take for you to master your fingers. Playing a guitar as a hobby is an excellent idea because you don't really care whether you're good or bad, you just keep playing for yourself or for other people, which also means that you shouldn't be concerned about time.

Start playing whenever you feel like it, don't follow any timelines, e.g. playing everyday at 5pm because you'll feel forced to do it, which means it can actually push you away from something you actually enjoy spending time on.

Instruments such as guitar are really amazing because they often convey emotions of the person.

Good luck with whatever you intend to do.
