    Hi all,

I was just wondering what the exam boards stipulate as compulsory units? For example, for Maths A level, is it compulsory to do C1, C2, C3 and C4? Or could you do a Maths A level in S1, S2, S3 and S4, for example?

Also, similarly, are Further Pure modules compulsory for Further Maths A level?

    Thank you!

Normal maths: c1-4 two applied units. Further maths: fp1, either fp2 or 3, then either 4 applied units or fp1-3 and 3 applied units. Any later module can only go in normal maths if the preceding unit is also in normal maths (e.g. you can have m1 and m2 in normal maths, but you couldn't have m2 in normal and m1 in further)
