    1. Hello everyone!

Has anyone had experience with deferring entry as an international student at postgraduate level? I've received a conditional offer for my uni for Sept. 2016 but I'm now wishing to attend Sept. 2017. Since it's only nearing the beginning of March is it too soon to contact the university about deferring until Sept. 2017? Any advice is welcome! Thanks!

    ........
High end universities tend not to have a deferral process, you just have to apply again next year. Low end universities will probably let you defer - they just want your money and so need to allow you time to find funding! You can ask at any time.

Hi, normally the universities defer admission by one intake that is in your case to January intake. However, if you the course is not available in January intake, they may defer it to September 2017 as well. Further, you need to give a concrete reason for the same & some unis may ask for supporting documents as well.
