    Hey everyone,

I got a PhD offer from University of southampton, but they only gave me 2 days to decide. Im still waiting for one interview. What should I do? Are there any consequences if I accept an offer and waive it later? I heard that there is system in which they save you as a waiver and it may cause trouble later.

    Please help!

No, there are no problems. The usual practice is to accept promptly and then reject as soon as you know you won't be taking up the place (when hopefully they can re-allocate).

First see if they'd be willing to give you more time. If not then the above should be fine.
