hey kids.
know you probably can't help but it sometimes feels good to put it all out there.
really like/d a guy from college, know he had a thing for me to. sent very complimentary texts etc. and we always spend alot of time together there.
both of us lead pretty busy lives and he is big into sport and is usually away on competitions all weekend/all holidays so he doesn't have much time.
today we kissed fo' the first time and it was great. he was saying how sad he was I am leaving for uni this year (im actualy year above him) and saying how he'd have to come say etc.
but then i get a text about half an hour later saying he wasn't really at the right place for relationship at the mo. and he was really sorry if i felt he was leading me on etc.
i replied saying i understood but i'd really enjoyed getting to know him. he replied saying thanks for understanding, he still liked "knowing me" (*cough* lame *cough*).
i'm pretty robust, ill bounce back. but just wanted some advice kids... what happened? what happened in half an hour to change his mind?etc
(wow i say etc far too much!)

mabey he got caught up in the moment. then realised ud be moving away and didnt want to ge too close and get hurt! so yeah jst as he said!
but dont let it get to u! ano it sux and all but im sure if its means to be it will be! give him some time he could change his mind and if not u could stay friends and im sure u'll find someone who is ready!

i knw this from personal experience!
but dont stress bout it this guy isnt obviously ready for the whoel seriousness of a long distance relationship, and here's the hard part realli truly are u?!?!?
thats been in ma head recently! with ma bf and me moving for uni!
bt honestly thngs will work out! mabey not how u expected but it tru!

Look at it this way, it's better to know half an hour later than a few months down the line.
I'm sorry to hear that things didn't work out, sometimes these things happen. Sometimes you can get caught up in the moment and don't always think things through properly, like he did. He just realised that he isn't in a position where he wants a relationship right now and he is sorry for leading you on. Just because this happened in a short period of time, don't assume that it's not true.
Like I said, best way to look at it is that it's better to know now rather than later, things could have ended much worse later on down the line.
