I was thinking to choose History, English Lit and Politics as my A Levels, but I don't have a clue on what I want to be. I've been searching on the Internet about potential careers, but to no avail. What possible career routes could I go down?

Have a look at http://university.which.co.uk/a-leve.../history?o=120 (including the unexpected matches!).

You have a very wide range of options to go into - it depends a lot on what your actual interests are and what you enjoy doing.

I know this wasn't aimed at me, but thank you! I've been using this site, but your suggestion seems better:
    http://www.bestcourse4me.com/explore/

I don't suppose there's one for degrees to suggested careers is there?

Which? get their data from best course 4 me....but they're easier to link to and a bit higher level. Bestcourse4me is a really useful resource but it's a bit of a faff to use if you don't know exactly what you're looking for (and their careers data is better than Which?s).

Do they have one for degrees to possible careers? or can you suggest a site? (beginning to think I've made a mistake)

best course 4 me will show the careers that graduates of a specific subject (or a specific subject at specific universities) went on to.

Or you can do the opposite on there and select a career and it will show the degrees (and other qualifications) that people in that career took.

Another resource worth looking at is both https://nationalcareersservice.direc...s/default.aspx and https://www.prospects.ac.uk/job-profiles (prospects is aimed at graduates whereas the national careers service is more general)

https://www.prospects.ac.uk/careers-...with-my-degree is advice about opportunities with different degrees (so looking at options rather than planning a route to a specific job)
