Southampton or Nottingham university?

Hey guys

I've received offers from both Southampton and Nottingham and they are my top choices but I am completely confused in which to pick, and I have to pick soon as accommodation for Nottingham becomes available on tuesday and its first come first serve :s-smilie:

Has anyone got any input as to which is better in terms of things to do on campus, friendliness of people, general atmosphere etc? Even if you can only answer for Southampton as I get this is the Southampton thread

I'm going to studying geography and I have an unconditional for nottingham and AAB for southampton

Hey, I'm a first year student at Southampton so am obvious biased but I was making the same decision last year. As far as Southampton I preferred the layout, it's main campus is for a mix of subjects and then they have specialised satellite campuses for different subjects ( I didn't know this when I picked), so there's the National Oceanography Centre which is a campus for subjects like geophysics, geography, marine biology, then Avenue Campus for Humanities, Winchester for the Arts and then Bolderwood for Engineering. Also I preferred the student union at Southampton, loads of bars and Cafes, activities and sports halls
