My brother is going for his pilot's medical certificate and 4 years ago he had a head injury. The injury required 2 stitches due to the cut, however he did not faint at all nor did he require any scans.

In the medical questionnaire, it asks to state if you have had any head injuries or loss of consciousness. He just wants to be made clear of what classifies as a head injury?

    Thanks guys.

I would say things like concussions, brain damage and trauma would be classed as head injuries. Something along the lines of those, I guess.
