    Hi
I have an offer for French and History at York, and I'm almost definitely going to choose it for my first choice.
I've been looking at Vanbrugh and it looks like the best college for me, so I'll hopefully be applying for accommodation there!
Anyone else in the same boat?
Also, do you know when we should be applying for colleges/what the chances are of getting your accommodation preference?
    Thanks x

    Hello,

Over the next three day we will be running online chats for offer holders where you can get answers to exactly those kind of questions. You should have had an email to register for an ID and password already but if you haven't then please get in touch with me.

There will be academic staff and current students from your department waiting online to answer any queries you have.

There will also be members of the accommodation, admissions, careers, finance and international teams ready to chat.So they should be able to answer your questions directly about how and when to apply to the colleges for accommodation.

Firmed York but I'm not sure where to apply for accommodation. I want somewhere on the main campus which is quite social so i can get to know people ect and also I want to join some societies so I don't want a far walk every time I go somewhere. But at the same time I'm such a light sleeper so I don't want to be somewhere that will be really loud at night because I will turn into a right grump. Any suggestions would be appreciated
