I left uni in December in order to change courses, I'm now at home until September again. I work a bit and I do sport, but apart from that I spend a lot of time on my own doing nothing and it gets pretty lonely, I've only got a couple of friends about at the moment. Has anyone been in this situation before and got any tips/ideas of what to do to alleviate the depressing nature of my life at the moment and how to better fill my time?

Do you work? If not, look for a part time job and save up and travel? That's what I did. If that doesn't appeal to you, volunteer somewhere?

Try getting a job if you don't have one already.

Read, write, sing, dance and socialise.

It really does! I love spending most of my time dancing like a maniac around the house

Same. I have massive windows that overlook a busy street and I need to remember to pull the blinds across.

I tend to dance when I get out of the shower...

Do some prep for the course you're doing, learn to drive, learn to play an instrument, get a job, learn to cook and get fit.

Try FutureLearn. It might give you something to do? It's also completely free and some of the courses are really interesting. https://www.futurelearn.com
