So I've been in England for 10 years and my passport ran out a year ago and I am in the process of studying for the English passport but I need a form of ID as it's becoming a problem.

My birth certificate is also is in Polish so I don't know if I can use that? Does anyone know how to get around getting a provisional without a passport?

I don't think foreign birth certificates are accepted. I am assuming you are Polish, do you have a Polish identity card?

You can get an NUS student card which works as an ID in most places, it's accepted by clubs, cinemas etc.
