    I'm first inclined to say that anyone asking that question of themselves can't be a bad person, but then fighting fire with fire is not a good idea, you're only teaching the child to lash out as you did, not exactly a good role model.

    Minecraft is like their life at that age for some, I've seem some people create mad complex things in their little worlds so that was perhaps one too far for swearing.

    Maybe next time/with your next nephew, just don't let them play on the PC for 20mins or educate them on why swearing is bad (from your point of view)

    This would educate him and he would be more mature, making it less of a problem in the long run perhaps?
