I am doing a project for sociology and I am writing about the success of the equality act 2010, I am looking for many opinions to give a statistic for my project.

Please state whether you think the equality act works or not and why

    Thanks in advance

Can you add a poll to your OP please?

I've found it hasn't actually worked for me at all. That's even after quoting the act itself and the relevant parts. (there are relevants parts, depending on what your situation is and how the act applies to you)

Voted no. Many reasons for this but the one that is coming to mind right now (I'm very sleep deprived right now) is that the pay gap between genders still exists and its quite a large pay gap.

I think its partially effective because the NHS are denying old people of treatment because they are going to die anyway and would prefer to treat a younger person for that reason. This is age discrimination.
