Would i be correct in thinking that electrical charge flows from an area of high charge to an area of low charge trying to reach equilibrium ?

    Thanks

conventional "charge" flows from positive to negative, better to say that than high to low because obviously you can have negative charge and positive charge...

Electrons, (which are the charge carriers), however, flow from negative to positive. That's just how conventional charge was originally defined.

    Hope that helps!
