Looking to go Interrailing this summer with my girlfriend. Does anyone have any tips? What routes have people done and what would they recommend?

    Thanks

I have travelled around Europe on trains and buses, but never actually bought a pass. Your money would go furthest in Eastern Europe - it is warm and there are some fantastic cities and beaches. This website shows you how it can be done very cheaply :

    Hi there,

When I went interrailing in September/October 2014, my route was Zagreb-Budapest-Bratislava-Krakow-Prague. If you wanted any advice on those cities, or had any specific questions then feel free to ask

Interrailing is something you really need to plan yourself to get the best expeirence. Research where you'd like to go.

I went with my ex last summer and it was amazing so it's definitely do-able and enjoyable as a couple despite what people might tell you. Here's a video of my route, feel free to ask me any questions about where I went.
