one more day of school,
one more day of sorrow,
one more day in this sodding dump,
and we'll be home tomorrow.

the wasps make the bees,
the bees make the honey,
we do all the sodding work,
and the teachers get the money.

Nice one.

My school sucks so we don't have one. We don't even sing in assembly anymore (not that I really wanted to, it just seems like one of those things schools are meant to do).

No school song and only sing at the Xmas assembly. Even then it's barely audible .

We do have a "taking the mickey" version of our school song, I just cant remember the whole thing. However, on important occasions such as end of term the school song turns into Jeromiah was a bullfrog...

My school doesn't have a song, but if we did, it'd probably be an amended version of The Streets' song: "We're s*** and we know it"
dont have one, my school can't do anything right, even that

'Berko Boys, we are here
Shag you're women and drink you're beer
la la la la la
la lal la la la la
Berko boys are big and strong
AND LONG
AND WIDE
AND F****N* HARD
BOOOOOOOOOOOOO*in the style of yardy gangstas*
If you've ever been in watford/hemel hempstead/milton keynes on a thurs/fri/sat night you've probabaly heard it....

Replace 'sodding' with 'old' and that's my song, it's famous, i didn't know that, my mum taught it to me and i thought she was just being weird and making up songs.

Yeah, my Mum taught it to me as well. She doesn't know about the other school song though!

We have a school song we have to sing every end of term and when people are leaving:

The school distills the wisdom clowly gathered through the years,
From all the generations and by countless labours won,
So splendid is our heritage for we today are heirs,
Of mankind's thoughts and tested trughts, its store of wit and fun.
The wisdom of the scholars and the vision of the seers,
And from her well filled treasury, the school shall hand them on.

Chorus:

Then gather all together,
We who work to serve the nations,
From the knowledge we are gaining to protect earth we will try, (This line started with the word with up til y9, then they changed it. For no obvious reason)
And will strive to build a future,
Where the motto that we honour,
Shall re-echo as the girls who follow after make reply:
SINE LABE DECUS (this is usually shouted rather than sung. it means 'honour without dishonour)

Then if anyone hasn't yet lost interest... the second verse:

The school stands for the honour that is brighter than the flame,
The light we must not suffer to be sardkened or concealed.
Then may we through life's challeneges keep steadily one aim,
To follow and be faithful to the light to us revealed.
United in endeavour as united in our name,
We shall through life strive worthily for turth, and never yield.

and then repeat the chorus.

Was so sad in our leavers assembly when they played that. They wanted to scrap it, but the leaving y13 were too upset that they wouldn't get it at their final speech day, so we've kept it.
My school song was 'To Be A Pilgrim'. We sang it at all the school events and in the first and last assemblies of term. It was quite pants.

But perhaps the gayest of all school songs ive ever heard came form my primary school... you will all agree..

Blue, Is the sky above us!
Gold is the shining sun!
A bright new future awaits us
When all our schoolings done

and I cant remember the rest... but see I wasnt lying!!!
I never had a school song but if we did it was probably Sir Mixalot Baby Got Back or something by lemon jelly....we were a weird bunch

Notre Dame, our Mother
Tender, strong and true
Proudly in the heavens,
Gleams the gold and blue.
Glory's mantle cloaks thee
Golden is thy fame,
And our hearts forever,
Praise thee, Notre Dame.
And our hearts forever,
Love thee, Notre Dame.

They're so Catholic.....

Fair (school) set in sweating jungle
May we thy daughters bring thee shame
Each striving hard to do her duty
And thus bring dishonour to thy name

United ever in theft and crime
always ready to waste our time
Oh s*** not pie and chips again

The proper school songs boring so we changed it a bit.

My school song is..

FLY THE RED FLAG, FLY IT HIGH
LET THE CRIMSON PAINT THE SKY,
WHEN WE SEE IT IN THE HEAVENS,
WE REMEMBER THOSE WHO DIED BEFORE US.

THE WORKERS FLAG OF OUR SCHOOL FLIES,
HIGH AND PROUD IN THE COURTYARD,
WHERE ALL CAN SEE, AND ALL CAN WATCH,
THIS THE FLAG OF OUR PREDECESSORS.

WITH HAMMER AND SICKLE WE WILL NOT STOP,
UNTIL THE LABOURS OF OUR SCHOOL ARE DONE,
FOLLOWING IN THE FOOT STEPS OF THE GREAT LEADERS,
STALIN, LENIN AND MAO TSE TUNG.

WE WILL LEARN FROM OUR TEACHERS,
THE NOBLE AND WISE,
AS THEY TEACH US THE STEPS TO REVOLUTION,
AND A COMMUNIST FEATURE SHINING BRIGHT.

SO COMMORADES IN ARMS,
ALL SING WITH ME,
FOR LOVE, FOR COUNTRY,
FOR OUR SCHOOL WATERSEA.

The founder of my school was a member of the British Communist party in 1939 (the year the school was founded) and the song has kind of stuck. As has the Red tie and Red school badge.
Our Prefect Anthem was the Baywatch Tune 'I'll Be There'.
