Well, your university choice will determine the following : Quality of teaching, Employability after completion of the degree, Opportunities (Including Social). As you go lower in the ranking of the league tables of universities for Law, these will be worse and worse. From past experience of those I have spoke to and what I have learnt from the past, I will tell you not to do a law degree unless it is in a well respect Russell group university or, at the very least, top 20 in the league tables for Law.

Do you intend to practise in the future? If so, then bear in mind the fact that many firms filter out candidates by the means of a-levels and having Btecs would limit you to a certain type of firms.

There are many firms, however, who don't give a toss about what you have studied before uni, rightly so, therefore unless you are aiming for big London firms (MC, SC), this shouldn't be a problem.
Btw. even if you end up at Liverpool, they still have a great law department and employment prospects too.
And, this should be helpful. http://www.chambersstudent.co.uk/law...ction-criteria

There is not much advice I can give, I am just a student who overthinks everything just as much as you do, who firmed Newcastle and insured Liverpool. We are in pretty similar positions here.
