    hello!

I am considering law, IB and consulting as the only worthy choices.

    1) does law pay as much as IB and consulting?
    2) which is least competitive?
    3) which welcomes mid-thirties people as career shifters?
    4) if you have a family and want to get out of the industry, which career offers the best prospect if you want to leave and join other industries?

    thanks!

    1) No. IB pays more, but you'll work a whole lot more in IB. Law/Consulting are pretty similar, with strategy consulting trending higher than Law
    2) They're all competitive
    3) All of them. IB/Consulting more so if you're coming from an MBA programme
    4) IB/Consulting have the greatest array of exit opportunities but corporate law is still quite good if you want to move in-house
