Hello, I'm hopefully going to be taking my theory test soon. The thing is is I e heard its 51 minutes long or something.

The practice ones only take me about 15 minutes to finish. Am I doing something wrong? (I generally either pass or nearly pass.)

Also, if I finish early in the actual test do I have to wait the whole time or can I start the hazard perception early or something?

No it really does take just around that time, in order to use a little more time I recommend redoing every question just to make sure. Then you click to confirm you've finished, you'll have an optional ~2 minute break and then go straight to the hazard perception

Oh, so it's not like a school exam when everyone finished and starts the next one at the same time?

Also, when I finish my hazard perception what do I do then?

Nah not at all, you'll probably start and finish at totally different times from the others the centre so don't worry if someone leaves before you. After you've done the 2nd part, you'll simply leave the room and return to the front desk/foyer and wait on your result- it doesn't take long to process, I had no sooner sat down that my result was ready!

May I just ask, does anyone know whether you're allowed to have a loo break during the theory test?

Honestly, as long as you go before hand you shouldn't need it

And as soon as you receive your result you can just leave?

Yup, they'll hand you sheet saying you've passed/failed and then you collect you stuff (your phone etc. goes in a locker) and you walk out
