Microorganisms feed on the tissue by secreting enzymes which break down tissue substances resulting in decay!

and what are the roles of Maggots and Beetles ? I know they're some of the microorganisms involved in the decay process but how they are involved in this process ?

these are detritus feeders I believe, they basically feed on the tissue and use the energy from the tissue for themselves. this causes the decay of the body
Also maggots and beetles are NOT microorganisms...
