I've just got an offer from Nottingham and I'll be studying Adult Nursing, so I was wondering which accommodation is best? I can't decide between Raleigh Park, St. Peter's court and Broadgate park (probably not St. Peter's court). Broadgate park was my top until I read that the wifi is always really bad there?! Is this true? Also, would it be possible to cycle from Broadgate park to the Queen's Hospital? I wouldn't mind the other two but they are smaller and way off campus

    Thanks,
    Hannah

    Hi,

We have recently made some upgrades to our wi-fi and have found that it has improved.

You would be able to cycle to the QMC quite easily through the University Park campus.

Happy to answer any other questions

Hello, I have an offer to study medicine starting sept 2016. I have already applied for catered accommodation in university park. Is it likely I will be offered a hall nearer the medical centre or is it 'random' as to which hall you are allocated?

    Hi Wigiwig,

The University Halls are allocated randomly so you choose the room type and site only. In previous years you have been able to request a second random allocation should you be dissatisfied with the first allocation. I believe this will be the case again.

Here at Broadgate Park we will consider any notes you include on your application form and help wherever possible.

Hi, i will also be studying Adult Nursing in September, i have chosen Raleigh Park because it seemed so much nicer and in a lovely area with everything close by. After speaking to 4 nurses who are currently studying the course they have said out of the 3, Raleigh Park is closer and much easier to get to QMC. I originally wanted ti apply for St Peters Court but after visiting on Saturday i changed my mind after id visited the others and spoke to other student nurses and staff Look forward to meeting you

    Lauren
