Can anyone shed any light on the above?

The process is a 45 minute verbal reasoning, spelling and data interpretation test with an hour long essay. I am fairly confident with both phases, but I was wondering whether anyone has attended the testing phase and could give a few more details about it - in particular what type of essay it was.

    Thanks in advance.

Hi I've been invited to the testing phase this year, could you let me know how you got on last year/what it was about?

    Thanks

The essay I was asked to write was the sort of thing you might find as an A-level politics question. I'll not say exactly what in case they are still using it.

Did you have to have a lot of knowledge of the topic in advance? If so, how would you recommend preparing for it?

I had actually done this question as an A-level politics question (though admittedly in 1993) - so I had plenty to say about it. Filled sides of A4, but it got a bit scattergun and lost focus. Didn't get invited to interview, so something about that approach was wrong. Might be better to sit and think of a few points and structure your answer scrupulously well?
