i bought a dinner jacket the other day. i am actually in love with it. i actually have no need for a girlfriend anymore, this dinner jacket consumes all my love. it cost £600, from William Hunt. It feels like was MADE for my body, it's just so so so so perfect. did i mention i love it? It has pink silk with flowers on inside. i love it.

that is all.

But you're female- aren't you supposed to wear a cocktail dress or evening gown for formal occasions.

I think its a guy who has disguised his profile to look like a girl. God knows why they'd want to.
A dinner jacket, £600? I spend £40 on a night out. Whatever the female equivalent is, my lifestyle isn't that affluently equipped. Forget Oxbridge, it's Oxfam all round.

Isn't that against the rules of pennying? There has to be some boundaries to it.

yeah. you can only penny a drink which is being held, and you cant penny a virgin drink.

I've always heard a glass in the hand is out of bounds, and can only be pennied when not held. However as Helenia said, the golden rule of pennying is the rules are whatever you convince people they are.

Me too, i was thinking maybe i'd splash out on one for about £300, as i'd get a lot of use out of it. But £600? You could buy a house with that when i was a lad!

LOL, 3232. P'haps I'll be seeing you post-October: you and I both adorning bin-bags, eyes meet across the room... Share a can of Special Brew... Dreams are made of this stuff.

lmao.
Popa Dom
The depressing thing is you have no idea how accurately that describes most bops..

"Bops", who are these people - Cambridge skint students?! I'll be joining that cohort then... :p:

Lol, a bop is a college disco (usually held in the bar/JCR) with loud music, lots of alcohol, silly costumes and crazy dancing (and a lot more fun than they sound!)

We haven't had a bin-bag bop yet (we've had themes like carnival, back to school, rave and pyjama party), but that's probably just because no one's suggested it to the entz reps yet!

Ha ha! Popa Dom made it sound bad - sounds like a right laugh to me. I'll be BOPPING away, given 'alf a chance!

Sounds like a plan! I'd propose bringing the Special Brew, but...well...you know...I'm not made of money... :p:
Ha ha. I've never actually had Special Brew! It's just the stereotypical drunks drink. Supertramp sounds great: if ever there was a name that suits itself...

It tastes completely vile, mixing it sounds like a recipe for spending most of the night throwing up on your shoes.

Not if you're a hardened drinker! I haven't thrown up in years!

We've never specifically had a bin bag bop, but there's always someone dressed in one at every bop anyway. I think I've only done it once though.
