My boyfriend is a footballer and lives away from home. He gets a few weeks off a year and he is deciding to go on a lads holiday with people he lives with.
First issue is obviously the lads holiday in it self- cheating etc.
Second is he is choosing that holiday over ours as he can only afford the one. We decided last year after our holiday that we would go to Italy in the summer so those plans have been dropped.
I am not happy about the situation at all, even if he could afford both I still wouldn't want him going on a lads holiday with people that are notorious cheaters.
He is extremely impressionable and doesn't know what he's doing when had a shandy never mind drinking all day for a week.
    Am I being a *****?

Honestly I think it's unreasonable for you to be unhappy with your boyfriend going on a lads holiday. Just because some of his friends cheat doesn't mean he will. You need to trust him or there's no point being with him.
As for the dropping your holiday plans, I'd feel the same as you. I've been in a similar situation but in the end you can't control the outcome. Let him know how you feel about it but in the end it's his decision.
