I've decided to buy an Apple iPad mini but I have seen 2 national stores selling at the same price as the Apple store near me. Is it of any benefit to buy direct from Apple or does it not make any difference?
    Thanks 😎

I bought my iPod Touch from John Lewis because they offer quite a long guarantee. I don't know if they do the same for the iPad mini, but it might be worth taking a look. I couldn't see the advantage of buying direct from Apple, I just look for the longest product protection offered.

Buying through Apple's education store can save you a whopping nine quid!

But yeah, aside from that I would say buy from whoever offers the longest guarantee, which is usually John Lewis. You'll get a year of warranty cover from Apple wherever you buy (provided they're an authorised retailer) and will be able to call upon their services like the Genius Bar if you have any issues, but having a store-based guarantee for a longer period of time is obviously nice to have in case issues arise outside of the warranty period.

As long as its legit, just buy from the cheapest place (Amazon most likely)
