    Hi,

This is strange, i sorta just needed somewhere to post my thoughts. Basically I live in a house with one other girl. I already knew her for a year previously and she kept to herself - always in her room etc - but i thought that was because she didn't like the living arrangements.

Now, however, she is going home every weekend and we only talk briefly in the kitchen. Her uni course means she's in all week where as I am only in one day a week. Most of my friends are on busy courses meaning they do not really socialise with those they do not live with and i am not particularly close to anyone on my own course. At first this wasn't a problem as I do like to be by myself sometimes...

but at this moment in time I feel so secluded. The only time i get to speak to someone is when my mother rings for our daily chat or go to shop or my weekly lecture. I just feel lonley. I honestly wake up, make food, get back into bed and do uni work, watch tv, walk to shop (sometimes) and get back into bed.

I honestly don't know why i'm posting this, but i am. I just feel at a loss.

Are there no other activities of your interest which you could do and meet other people, so you don't feel as lonely?

This sounds exactly like my life. If you really want to make friends and have such free time surely it's not that hard at university? Students union etc. Any friends you already have at uni ?
If all your friends are busy and you're less busy then socialise a bit more I guess.

I know it's easier said than done, I'm just offering advice. I go through the same thing.
