    I see you need merit to get on a higher level so what does a pass get you?

    To be honest, sometimes people with BTECs are more employable (by lower businesses - but there's more opportunities for smaller positions than big heavily paid jobs) because people with BTECs aren't as academic but have developed a range of skills while completing their course because there's more parts to it than 'here's the information, learn this and you'll be tested.' Hope what I'm trying to say makes sense, I'm not speaking from experience because I personally don't do any BTECs but we had a university talk and they were speaking of them
