    For multinationals, depending on how far you go and in what industry, pedigree can be sought after. Hence why these bluechips fund MBA's from Wharton, LBS etc. But as the others have mentioned, you'd need to be more specific about 'business'...

    A handful of unis have brand name recognition which might help get an interview, though this is subjective. Btw how do you define 'prestige'?

    In business, as in life, your career is what you make of it. Several 'top' people in business don't have degrees.
