B940 - Protection of Religion Bill, The Rt Hon. Little Toy Gun MP
Protection of Religion Bill
A
BILL
TO
restore the British Empire to its former glory by saving Christianity.

1) Definitions
a) 'Christianity' shall be defined solely by the Roman Catholic Church.
b) 'The Pope' refers to the supreme pontiff, holder of The Holy See.

2) Restoration of the Religion
a) Roman Catholic Christianity is the state religion of the United Kingdom.
b) The Canon Laws are the supreme constitutional document of the United Kingdom.
c) Should the European Union regulations or laws be in contradiction to the Canon Laws, the Canon Laws shall prevail.
d) Should international agreements or laws be in contradiction to the Canon Laws, the Canon Laws shall prevail.
e) All citizens have the right to appeal any case up to the Vatican court.
f) All royal orders are abolished and be replaced by papal orders.
g) His Holiness The Pope is the supreme authority within the United Kingdom and enjoys all powers hold by the sovereign.
h) His Holiness The Pope is an absolute ruled within the United Kingdom with unchecked powers.
i) The Most Reverend Archbishop of Canterbury is the sole representative of His Holiness The Pope and thus has authority over the sovereign and enjoys unchecked absolute power within the United Kingdom.
j) The Church of England, The Church of Scotland, and The Church of Ireland are directly under the authority of the Roman Catholic Church.
k) The Church of Wales is to be re-established under the authority of the Roman Catholic Church.
l) All schools must preach Catholicism.
m) The National Curriculum shall be solely decided by the Roman Catholic Church.
n) Should His Holiness The Pope appoint a Holy Roman Emperor, His Imperial Majesty The Holy Roman Emperor shall have supreme authority over anyone and any organization within the United Kingdom, bar the representative of His Holiness The Pope.
o) All citizens and residents at the United Kingdom must be Catholic or they shall be executed.
p) All female priests shall be dismissed and burnt at the stake as witches.
q) The world-wide Anglican Communion is under the direct authority of the Roman Catholic Church.
r) The United Kingdom has a moral and legal responsibility to maintain the integrity of the Papal State.
s) Same-sex marriage and homosexual behaviour are criminalized and all who engaged in them will be executed.
t) All children in the United Kingdom are properties of the Roman Catholic Church.
u) All locally elected officials have to be approved and appointed by the bishop who oversees the diocesan.
v) All universities in the United Kingdom may teach only Catholic theology and no other discipline.
w) All members of the British government must be Catholic.
x) All members of the royal household must be Catholic.
y) Her Majesty's Government shall be renamed His Holiness's Government.
z) Women's right to vote is revoked.

3) Commencement, Short Title, Extent
a) This bill will come into effect immediately.
b) This bill may be cited as the Protection of Religion Bill.
c) This bill will apply to elections within the whole of Christendom.

Note:
This bill is a direct response to the opposition to the disestablishment of The Church of England. The author recognizes the value of Christianity and the protection of traditions within the United Kingdom. Since Anglicanism was created by the excommunicated legitimate monarch Henry Tudor, the United Kingdom has gone downhill and suffered from numerous natural disasters.

I thought this might actually be a genuine bill until I saw the bit about people being executed and burnt at the stake. It is a shame there isn't a sensible bill about protecting religions and cultures as I would definitely say aye. However, for this joke bill I have nothing other than nay.
