So, I hate science, point blank. I was absoloutely horrendous at it, to the point of I was predicted all C's, and constantly failed class tests. The same goes for Maths, which I ended up dropping down a set of my choice as I felt I was holding back other people.
This dislike of science and maths meant I was inevitably going to do badly at GCSE, especially physics as it sounded like gobbeldy goop and was basically maths but harder.
Miraculously, my GCSEs were okay, and my eventual results were:
Biology A*, only dropped 4 UMS over the whole qualification.
Chemistry A, 2 UMS under an A*
Physics A*, full UMS over the whole qualification.
I downloaded this:
It's the spec, your new life saver, especially for triple science where there is no textbook!
Now how did I use it? I took a blank exercise book, and went through point by point, crossing it off as I did, and wrote out exactly what each point asked for, including diagrams and mock QWC's, until I had essentially three hand written text books.
My grades shot up, and the same happened for the two year 10 girls I gave this advice to after the science department asked me to do for them what I did for my grades.
I replicated this in my RS and Psychology Mocks for AS, and gained Full marks for RS, and near full marks for psych last week.
Hope it helps!!

Well done on boosting your grades. Keep it up. It will pay off in the future. I passed mine last year from shocking grades as I worked my buttt off.
Now I am at UNI
