'I could really do with a cadbury's creme egg right now'

Reply 4

Im thinking that I care about the person Im saying it to and that Im in a state of such content that I can see myself with that person in the unforseeable future

Reply 5

I'm thinking, 'undress yourself you skank'. Simply because I respect my woman so much.

Reply 6

I tend to be thinking of how important that person is to me, and how lucky I am to have them in my life. Depends to whom I'm saying it, too. But I think the difference is, I'll throw a casual "love you" into the end of conversation with one of my family members, and not think about it, but when I say "love you" to my boyfriend, I always mean it 100%, and the emotion behind the words is in some ways, a lot stronger.

Reply 7

I only say it to people I really do love; my bf, Nana, little bro and of course my closest mates. so at the time, I'm thinking what I'm saying

Reply 8

Goodness only knows; it's years since I've felt occasioned to address anyone as such.

Reply 9

that there are no words to describe how I feel about this person , so I can only substitue it to the universal (but admitedly used without thinking at times) expression of " I love you".
I only truly love very few beings on this earth:
My Mum,my nan,my grandad,my dog,my cousins from italy, anna, chris(not romantically attached). I admit I have used it and not truly meant it before

Reply 10

I don't say it often so when I do I really mean it.

Reply 11

Reply 12

The truth be told

When I say "I love you", I think:

"I could really use an Egg McMuffin right now, and I must remember to put some Diesel in my landie"

Reply 15

Well, when i was incredibly naive and in my first relationship, it meant 'I really like having sex with you'.

Reply 16

i love you means = i cant bear to be without you and i love you forever.

I just ended a phone conversation with my great aunt, aged 88, with the words "I love you".:frown:

I seriously hope you weren't thinking 'I really like having sex with you' as you said it.

I read your comment after finishing the conversation.

I'm going to have to think of a new way to end conversations with her now though.
