I'd put English essays in there full stop
I actually enjoyed English essays - especially Of Mice and Men and I like the Inspector calls exam. Our class have a really good teacher though. I'm taking Lit of A-level with Phsycology and History (so lots of essays ha) but also Maths so one essay-less subject at least (I wanted further maths but it clashed with English of all things; who would have thought maths and english would clash?)

Oooh, yeah they're both so annoying! I also hate it when people ask to borrow a pen and leave it on the table...without the lid!

    Escalators!

They are absolutely fine when you are on them, but getting on and off of the things is nigh on impossible. It's the deciding which step to stand on that gets me every single time without failure; get it wrong and you are potentially stuck with your nose on someone's back - and someone else's nose on your's - for the 30 seconds it takes to get to the top. Or, you end up stalling and annoying the person behind you. Then you have to decide when to step off the escalator, which is harder than it sounds, because you are moving at a constant rate, and then one foot stops whilst the other catches up. Trying to weave together the intricate manoeuvre of getting on and off an escalator whilst maintaining a degree of dignity is potentially impossible.

The alternative, of course, is the stairs, which despite requiring a greater expenditure of effort I generally prefer - especially considering they are generally much quieter!
